Advanced API Access

Advanced API Access unlocks the full New/Mode platform for teams with custom data needs. Beyond our standard public endpoints, you get access to a much broader set of endpoints reserved for internal use and Advanced + subscribers. Those who have access to this feature also have the option to receive direct guidance from our technical team, so you can pull campaign lists, detailed statistics, and analytics into your own tools and workflows.

 

Advanced API access is available in New/Mode's Advanced Tier of service (makes sense right?) and our Standard API is available in our Growing Organization tier of service.

How does Advanced API Access differ from New/Mode's standard API access?

New/Mode's standard subscriber API includes a small set of publicly documented endpoints that cover the basic integration needs. Behind the scenes, though, the New/Mode platform runs on a much larger JSON API with hundreds of endpoints. These are the same endpoints the New/Mode app uses to load and save your data every time you work in the dashboard.

Advanced API Access opens up this broader set of endpoints to your organization. It's designed for teams that want to go beyond what the standard API offers, such as organizations building custom reporting, syncing campaign data with a CRM or data warehouse, or automating workflows that the public endpoints don't yet support.

Common uses include pulling detailed campaign statistics, and accessing analytics data for deeper performance reporting.

Those who have access to this feature also have the option to receive direct guidance from our technical team, so you can pull campaign lists, detailed statistics, and analytics into your own tools and workflows.

We'll meet with you to understand what you're trying to accomplish, point you to the right endpoints, and help you get your integration working.

Here's a couple other specifics to keep in mind: 

  • Advanced API Access works with New/Mode's existing endpoints. It doesn't include building new, custom endpoints for your organization.
  • User accounts can join multiple New/Mode organizations. API access for a user account is restricted to specific organizations. API access will not be scoped to all organizations on a user account by default for security and compliance.
