New/Mode Pricing Plan Changes (August 2026)
New/Mode is updating its plan structure and pricing. The goal of our pricing changes is to help campaigners grow your community affordably. This article answers the most common questions about what's changing and what it means for your account.
Will my current plan change automatically?
No. All existing plans are grandfathered. If you're already a customer, your current pricing, contacts, and plan terms stay the same and won't be affected by this update. The new plans and pricing apply to new customers and anyone who chooses to switch.
What's changing overall?
Three main things:
- Lower donation processing fees. We found a way to let you keep more donation revenue you receive from supporters!
- Contact-based pricing instead of usage caps. Every new subscription now includes a set number of contacts. If you go over that number, you're billed a small per-1,000-contact rate rather than being capped or forced to upgrade.
- Reorganized plans and features. Plan names, included users, and some feature availability have been updated across the lineup.

Are there discounts for longer billing terms?
Yes. Monthly billing is the base rate; paying annually, or committing to a 2- or 3-year term, unlocks a discount:

How does New/Mode’s Contact based pricing work?
Each plan now includes a set number of contacts as part of the base price. If your contact list grows beyond that number, you're charged a per-1,000 additional contacts rather than being blocked or required to upgrade:

A few things to know:
- Additional Contacts charges are billed monthly, even if you're on an annual subscription. You may also purchase Additional Contact allotments ahead of time on an annual, 2 year or for monthly subscriptions.
- If you prepay annually, you get the same discount on Additional contact rates as on your subscription (20% off, 15% off on GO).
- On the free Individual plan, your contact limit is unlimited as long as donations are enabled. If you turn donations off, the limit is 500 contacts.
Are donation processing fees changing?
Yes, they're going down, and they now scale with your plan so higher tiers keep more of what they raise:

How many users do I get on each plan?
New/Mode's plans come with an overall user limit. If you reach your maximum number of users, you must remove an existing user before adding new ones.

What CRM integration options are available?
- Mailchimp: available as an add-on starting on the Teams plan, $80/month.
- Multiple CRM integrations: available starting on Movement Builder and GO at $140 per additional CRM per month, or $99 per CRM on Enterprise plans.
What other add-ons should I know about?
- Brand removal (remove New/Mode branding from your forms and pages): $200/month, available from Movement Builder up.
- 1-on-1 onboarding sessions and check-ins: $400 per session, or $325 per session if bundled into an annual subscription. Available starting on the Growing Organization plan.
