Custom Recipients

Contact data for Custom Recipients must come from a public source, such as a constituent-facing government page or a widely available company website.

Impact (v2) users on our Grassroots plan can now add recipients outside of our datasets to their campaigns. Once added, they'll be saved in your account so that you can add them to future campaigns with ease!

If you are not on our Grassroots plan you will first be prompted to upgrade.

When creating your campaign, you can search for your recipient to see if they already exist. If not, click on either of the custom recipient buttons. If it suits your strategy, you can also add your Custom Recipients alongside recipients from our location-based datasets.

Fill out the Name, Email and Country fields with your recipients information. If you would like to include more information such as their title, you can do so by clicking on Additional Details. Just before clicking 'Add Individual' to save them to your campaign, choose whether or not you would like their info to appear to your supporters, by using the 'Show recipients to supporters' box on the right.

You'll now be able to search for this recipient when creating future campaigns by first name, last name, or email address. 

If you need to update their information or delete them, you can do so by Editing your recipient. Be sure to save your changes once you're done!
