Depending on your campaign preference or the level of government you are looking to reach, users can now modify address and postal code fields.
This feature is available on our Teams plan tier and above
Whether you're using location-based Recipients or creating custom ones you can now customize which address fields are included in your campaign, as well as whether or not they are required. If you are using geolocated Recipients please be sure to keep either your postal code or zip code field required.
Address
After you have made your recipient choices and written your message, head over to the campaign design module to find your address field options. Once you click on the 'search address' 'city' or 'postal code' fields the design elements menu will open on the right-hand side where you can then choose to edit your properties. Once done, make sure the 'Required' toggle remains red if you want to collect their full address.
If you prefer to have the Address field optional, simply uncheck the 'Required' toggle. You'll know your form has made full address non-required because the toggle will be grey, and your fields will have (optional) beside their label.
Postal or Zip Code
If you prefer to only make the zip/postal code field mandatory, change the 'location collection' option to zip/postal code.
If you prefer to have the postal/zip field optional, simply uncheck the 'Required' toggle. You'll know your form has made the field non-required because the toggle will be grey, and the label beside the have (optional) beside their label.
By default, if the level of government you are looking to reach requires full address you will not be able to make address fields optional. This is most commonly found when contacting Federal Representatives using our Recipient datasets. You'll know this is the case when the required toggle remains enabled in the design elements menu.

LTE Campaigns
By default Letters-to-the-Editors requires full address by default. This cannot be changed as we want to make sure your supporters letters are published!
