Are you running a campaign and would like to review your supporters submissions before delivering them to your intended recipients? If so, this article is for you!
This feature is available on our Teams plan and above.
When running an Email Campaign on the New/Mode platform, you will see that there is an option on the Message>Campaign email tab labelled "Submission Approvals".
Keeping this setting on will ensure that all letters from your supporters are sent as soon as they are submitted to your campaign. This status is called Auto approval.
However, if you'd like to review submissions before they are delivered to your recipients, you can turn this setting off, which will allow you to Manually approve each submitted letter to your Campaign.
Manually Approving Submissions
If you have decided to manually approve submissions, you'll want to head to the Overview>Submissions page of your Campaign to view the incoming submissions.
Once on this page, you will see your collected submissions. There are a number of different statuses that a submission may have.
- NEW - This is when a submission has just been received, and is awaiting review.
- APPROVED - If you are happy with the letter that has been received, you can approve it for delivery to your intended recipients.
- DECLINED - If you review the submission, and you decide it's not an appropriate letter to be received by your intended recipients, you can decline the submission, and the letter will not be delivered.
- PENDING - This status is if you're not ready to approve or decline the submission, so you can put it into a pending state.
To determine what state you would like to change your submission to, you can use the checkboxes beside each submission. Once you have selected the desired submissions you would like to approve/decline.set to pending, choose one of the options provided at the top of the table.
You're all set! You can now manually approve/decline submissions based on your campaigns preference!
