Take your campaign one step further with additional fields
Should you need to add membership status, create a survey, or include additional fields for supporter list segmentation, you can now further customize campaigns with additional fields. Custom form fields are available on all our plans and all our campaign types!
When on the campaign design page you can select the additional field(s) you would like to add to your campaign from the Design elements menu on the right hand side. Select the field type and drag it where desired onto the left hand side.
You can update the field properties such as the description and whether or not the field is required.
Your data related to your new fields will appear in your submissions in relation to the other fields on your campaign.
Connecting your new field to a CRM
If you are connected to a CRM make sure to head over to Integrations to map where the information captured in your custom field should go.
- For CRM syncing:
- All custom fields are treated as strings.
- For multi-select dropdowns and checkbox groups, multiple selected options are stored as an array.
- Campaigners can define option values and labels for radio groups, checkbox groups, dropdowns, and multi-select dropdowns.
- Labels are shown to supporters, while values appear in the submission table, are synced to CRMs (if mapped) ex:
- value = '1' and label = 'I am a volunteer'
- value = '0' and label = 'I am not a volunteer
