Auto-approval is our moderation system for tools like Emailing, Faxing, and Letters to the Editors.
If you keep it OFF, all emails will wait for your manual approval on the Submissions tab. Keeping auto-approve OFF can allow you to release all (or any given number of) submissions on a specific date if that's of a strategic benefit to your campaign.
Our campaign experts recommend turning auto-approval ON for supporter actions that don't have an editable letter, like a Petition, while other actions, like Letters to the Editors might require more moderation.
To control whether auto-approval is ON/OFF, go to your campaign tool's Basic Configuration page:
If you have Auto-Approval OFF, you will need to manually approve submission.
